Narrative Therapy's goal is to help you re-write your story. It helps you become, and embrace, being the expert in your own life. As your life has unfolded, you have developed and carried stories with you. Some of these stories are related to yourself, your work, relationships, abilities, and the things that have simply happened to you. You have created meaning and stories from your experiences, and this, in turn, influences how you see yourself and how you view the world. Separating yourself from your problems, and engaging in Narrative approaches can empower you to make changes in your thoughts and actions, and then re-write your life story.
